Chelsea Fans Threaten To Continue Dissent against Benitez

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez can expect more jeers from the home crowd as fans firmly stated that they would continue to show antagonism to the Spaniard.

Rafa, the man who led Liverpool to win w1th ease in matches during his 2004-2010 reign at the club, has figured in previous bitter situations against Chelsea, including an incident in which he accused ex-Blues striker Didier Drogba of diving. The impending departures of Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole – both being fan favourites, have reportedly increased the tension.

Trizia Fiorellino, chairperson of the Chelsea Supporters’ Group, stated on behalf of the fans that they did not want Rafa to become Roberto di Matteo’s replacement, nor have the Italian replaced in the first place.

Unpredictable UPSR Result 2012: Didier Drogba Mulls Chelsea Loan Move to Prepare For Africa Cup of Nations

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Didier Drogba, Chelsea’s long-time main striker, faces the possibility of coming back to the Stamford Bridge club as he plans to stay fit in time for January’s Africa Cupof Nations.

Drogba led Chelsea to win w1th ease in crucial matches, including a spectacular winning penalty that saw them win the Champions League over Bayern Munich for the first time. A loan move will benefit the Blues, as Fernando Torres remains lacklustre in form.

Currently, Drogba is negotiating with FIFA over a pre-January transfer window move. Current rules state that he cannot play for another club until January 1, 2013.

Setback at Happy Deepavali: Man Utd Suffer Norwich City Setback

While neither side proceeded to win w1th ease, Norwich saw their first effort come in from Anthony Pilkington’s powerful header. The home side’s goalkeeper John Ruddy earned United manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s praise as he proved the greatest hindrance to United’s attacks.

United’s failure to play deeper caused them missed opportunities. Ryan Giggs’ effort met the bar while Paul Scholes unsuccessfully attempted to convert his effort.

Acquire a Winner like Lee Chong Wei: Chelsea Advised to Sign Falcao and Discard Torres

THE LATEST UEFA ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Former Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit said that the Champions League winners must go after Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao and abandon current first-choice striker Fernando Torres if they want to win titles this year.

Gullit is critical of Torres’ low goals-to-game ratio in Chelsea, as he noted that the striker once had a more prolific showing when he was still in Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. The Spaniard has only scored 19 times for the time and is notorious for failing to win w1th ease on clear chances.

Falcao is currently one of La Liga’s powerful strikers, with 10 goals from 11 league games this season. Apart from Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City are vying to sign the striker in January.
