Wenger Hails Walcott’s Splendid UEFA Champions League Performance

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was all praises for his player Theo Walcott as the winger returned to Champions League for the first time this season with a goal in their 2-2 draw against Schalke 04.

Despite Arsenal’s failure to win with ease against the German outfit, Wenger made known his admiration for Walcott’s performance, saying that the player “did well, very well”.

Walcott’s sickness last Monday initially lowered his first-team chances last Tuesday. He eventually took the place of the injured Aaron Ramsey and scored the match opener 18 minutes into the game.
