Force India to reveal all
The Force India F1 team is set to unveil its driver line-up for 2012 on Thursday.
The day has not been officially confirmed as the date for a team announcement, but they are definitely set to reveal all this week after a hold-up up to now.
Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil both did well for the progressive team in 2011, while former Williams man Nico Hulkenberg - a reserve driver this year – will also feel he has made a strong case to be returned to a top two role.
The two men for 2012 will come from that three, with team co-owner Vijay Mallya refusing to say exactly when the rest of the world will know. The drivers themselves must be told first, but fans can expect to know the decision by Thursday.
Team vice-principal Rob Fearnley has been quoted by planet-f1.com as saying: "There are a number of things holding it up.
"Obviously, it is only fair we deal with the drivers. We have three very talented drivers and we need to make sure the one who is going to be disappointed has the best opportunity to position himself.
"If you remember, he (Mallya) said 15 December (Thursday). That would be consistent with what he has always projected. I'm sure that's the date he's always set." - http://www.setanta.com
