Team principal Vijay Mallya has confirmed that no decision has been taken on whether to stick with Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta for another season despite mounting speculation that the former will be dropped at the end of the season.
Initially Mallya declared that an announcement would not be made until after the season-ending race in Brazil but he has vowed to let his drivers know sooner rather than later so they can make future plans.
Reports suggest Force India will go with Di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg for the 2012 Formula 1 season, but Mallya insists no decision has been made.
"All the drivers have asked me to make an early decision, and I respect that. I have a big decision to make! But it's not made yet - I'm not the type of guy who's going to make a decision and string people along," Mallya sai.
"When I decide I will just tell them the way it is and that's it."
Force India are looking to secure sixth place in the constructors' championship and are currently ten points clear of Toro Rosso.
While Force India's performances have improved in recent weeks, Mallya has vowed to keep pushing until the last race in Brazil to ensure sixth place.
"Formula 1 becomes more and more competitive with each passing day. Toro Rosso has clearly made a huge step since Japan. We've also made a bit of a step with the upgrades we brought to India," he added.
"But at the end of the day you never know until the last race is over. We found that out painfully last year when Williams pipped us by one point, but now I think we're comfortably in sixth position, ahead of Toro Rosso as well as Sauber. But it's never done until it's done." - http://www.setanta.com
